Day care facility

Day care services are from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. There are three day care rooms and an after school room. Each room has direct access to the outdoor play space which has a wide range of equipment for physical development, imaginary development and growing and planting exercises.

Each day children will be offered a nutritional breakfast, snack at 10am, lunch at 12 noon and a snack at 3pm. If a child is hungry additional snacks will be provided.

The baby room

This room is for children up to 1 year and 10 months. There are nine baby places as well as a fully equipped sleep room to enable babies to have a nap usually after lunch or at any time if they need it.

Children will have a wide range of opportunities and will play with age and stage appropriate toys and equipment.

Toddler room

This room has children who range from 1 year 10 months to 2 years 10 months. Here again children will have a wide range of age and stage appropriate toys and equipment to play with. They will learn songs in Irish and musical movement.

Preschool room

In this room we have children from our playgroups. They will have additional opportunities to reinforce what they learn in playgroup and develop their skills and language. This room is more informal than the playgroup rooms and will encourage more leisurely activities.
