Playgroup at Ionad na Fuiseoige

Our pre playgroup delivers the Irish language through play and fun activities. All our staff are fluent speakers who use language, repetition and actions to make sure children understand the language in every day play. At the end of the academic year children will then proceed into the Naíscoil to begin their journey towards an Irish language education.

Developmental programme for 2-3 year olds – Surestart

We deliver this programme in partnership with Colin Surestart. This is a developmental programme funded through Surestart by the Department of Education. This playgroup is a small group of 12 children from the age of 2 years and 2 months who have gone through the Surestart selection process. This programme like our other playgroups is delivered through the Irish language in preparation for children going to a Bunscoil.
